Filter Feeders is a sound performance group with Myra Henriksson and Lotta Hurnanen. The sound performances center around the fragmented experience of the contemporary life and the constant feeds that surround us. The group uses sound and video art to create harmonic spaces in which the concept of presence can be experienced and examined. The group was formed when it’s three members made two performances together as a part the program of Mad House performance and live art festival in Helsinki in early 2017. After that the group has performed e.g. at the Museum of Contemporary Art Kiasma, the sound art gallery Akusmata and HAM corner.
